What to expect
How the visit goes
Most people are in and out in under an hour for the first visit, plus a 5-minute return for the TB read.

Step 1. You check in
Our physician reviews your medical history and does the physical exam.

Step 2. Blood, urine, and TB
Quick blood draw for the infectious-disease panel, a urinalysis sample, and the Mantoux TB injection. All in the same visit.

Step 3. Vaccinations if needed
If Immigration's requirements call for vaccinations you don't have on file, we give them on-site.

Step 4. Back in exactly 48 hours
A separate 5-minute visit to read the TB injection site, two days after the injection: Monday in, Wednesday back. This can't be moved or skipped. Miss it and the test starts again.

Step 5. Your file, assembled
You leave with the complete set of test results and supporting documents. The medical certificate itself is issued by Migrant Health, not by us; we make sure they have what they need from you.

It has to be read exactly 48 hours later or you start again. Monday in, Wednesday back. Pick the day you had it and we'll drop a reminder into your phone's calendar. Nothing gets stored or sent anywhere.

A few things to know
Fasting or prep?
Fasting is required for the blood draw: no food or drink except water for 8 to 12 hours before you come in. Walk-ins welcome during business hours.
How long it takes
Under an hour for the first visit for most people. Then a 5-minute visit exactly 48 hours later for the TB read.
Who issues the certificate
Migrant Health issues the certificate, not us. What we provide is the panel results and documentation Migrant Health needs to issue it.
