Paternity & DNA testing

Paternity tests, handled in confidence.

We collect the buccal swab here in Providenciales and ship samples to our accredited DDC lab in Florida. Personal testing for peace of mind, or formal chain-of-custody collection when the result has to hold up in court. About six weeks from collection to result.

Two ways we do this

Personal or legal: it depends on what you'll do with the result

The collection and lab processing are similar. The difference is how strictly chain-of-custody is documented, and whether the result is admissible in court.

Personal paternity test

For your own peace of mind. Buccal swab collected here at the clinic, samples shipped to our DDC lab partner in Florida. Results come back to you directly, in confidence. About six weeks from collection.

Legal / chain-of-custody

For court, custody decisions, immigration filings, inheritance, or any situation where the result has to be defensible. Identity verified with photo ID at collection, samples sealed and shipped under documented chain-of-custody, and the result certified by the lab as legally admissible. About the same six weeks, with full documentation included.

The process

How a test goes

The same four steps for both versions; only the documentation and identity verification differ.

  1. 01

    You contact us

Call or come in. We talk through which type of test you need and what's involved. Everything stays in confidence from the first conversation.

  2. 02

    Sample collection at the clinic

Painless buccal (cheek) swabs for all participants, about five minutes per person. For legal tests, we verify identity with photo ID before sealing the samples.

  3. 03

    Samples ship to DDC

Sealed, documented, and shipped to our accredited DDC laboratory partner in Florida for processing.

  4. 04

    Your result, discreetly delivered

About six weeks later. Results come back to you directly. For legal tests, the documentation is court-admissible.

Before you book

A few things to know

Who needs to be tested

For a standard paternity test, samples from the child and the alleged father. The mother is optional, but including her sample often makes the result more conclusive. We can advise based on your situation.

About the turnaround

Around six weeks from collection to result. Because samples ship to Florida for processing, there's no expediting it past what the lab supports.

About confidentiality

Personal tests are returned only to the person who arranged them. We don't discuss results with anyone else without explicit written authorization, even close family.

When you need the legal version

Personal test results aren't admissible in court because the collection isn't witnessed under chain-of-custody. For custody cases, immigration filings, or inheritance disputes, ask for the chain-of-custody version at booking.

Why us for this

What you get for choosing here

Paternity testing only works if the lab is credible, the sample is collected properly, and the whole thing stays where it belongs.

DDC accredited lab partner

We work with DNA Diagnostics Center, one of the largest and longest-running accredited paternity labs in the US. Their results are recognized in US and international courts.

Local collection, professional handling

You don't have to mail a swab yourself or trust an unwitnessed home kit. We do the collection here under proper conditions and we handle the documented shipping.

Legal track when you need it

If the result has to hold up, the chain-of-custody workflow is set up to do that properly. Identity verified, samples sealed, every step documented. You just specify which version you need at booking.

Discretion is the default

Paternity testing tends to come up in some of the most sensitive moments in a family. Our intake, collection, and results delivery are all designed around keeping that information where it belongs.
