What it is for
Part of the work permit medical and of many routine check-ups. Your doctor uses it to look at the kidneys and urinary tract.
Before you come in
Preparation
No fasting
- Drink normally; you will give a sample at the clinic.
- A first-of-the-morning sample is best when it is practical, but any time of day works.
- Women should tell us if they are menstruating; the sample can be timed around it.
What to bring
- Photo ID
Ready when you are.
Walk in during business hours, or call ahead and we will have a time set for you.
